Agios Spiridon is situated at the north-east corner of Corfu and has an attractive beach, set in a charming bay with sand, rocks and emerald waters. It is a great place for those looking for a quiet spot.
The main beach is suitable for children as the water is shallow close to the beach. The area is quite flat so ideal for beach sports and for the walk from the car park. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire and close to the beach are changing rooms, public toilets and showers. In the same area there is a small lake and behind the lake some smaller, even quieter beaches.
I can report no urchins on the main area of the beach but be careful near the rocky ends.
There are apartments and villas to rent as well as a new holiday complex. There are several tavernas nearby. |
