For those who want peace and quiet as well has a suntan.
The beach of Agios Ioannis Strogilis is situated in the south east part of the island of Corfu over looking mainland Greece and is a relaxed resort beach.
Also, a small choice of restaurants and tavernas is provided hotels are situated close to the beach. A few watersports are available.
How to get there:
1. Green Buses depart from the centre of Corfu town every half hour the ride takes 35 minutes and the bus drops you off right by the beach.
2. Driving down by car or motorcycle doesn't take very long as the beach lies only 20 kilometres from Corfu town. Leaving the town, you take the road southwards signposted for Leukimi. Driving down the east coast of Corfu you go past the village of Benitses. The beach is situated just after the tunnel you go through 5 kilometres past Benitses. |
