 AGIOS GEORGIOS (North) - SAND - BLUE FLAG
Located at the northern end of the west coast, between two headlands in a horse-shoe shaped bay, this is a secluded resort approached by a steep, narrow road. Small and untouched by the crowds it is exclusively a tourist development with no native village life and very quiet in the low season.
The beach is long, wide, and of golden sand. It is considered one of the best on the island, with a wide range of water sports in the high season. The wonderful fresh breezes on this side of the coast make it especially good for windsurfing.
Accommodation consists of studios, villas, apartments and small hotels. There are some local tavernas specialising in fish.

1. The green buses which leaving from the center of the Bus station every two hours
